56 Aussie Chev Car Radio and Speaker.

. For the RADIO, the Aussie RHD dash is the same as the LHD version, the US radio will fit the Aussie dash. The Radios were available with or without pushbuttons.
· The radio has a chrome nose, chrome outer knobs with serrations and black pushbuttons and inner knobs, as in the photos.·The 56 outer knobs are different to the 55, check the photos. but I’ve seen a few cases where the knobs have been changed to match other knobs on the dash such as wiper and light switch.

DVC Speaker.

This 6 x 9 Hi Power Stereo DVC Speaker, fits in the original dash location.
This Dual Voice Coil Speaker gives great sound. Both front stereo channels from your conversion radio connect direct to this speaker. These speakers have 70% more cone area than a conventional 2 speaker system in the same location, giving you better bass response & better power rating.
This is the best stereo solution I have found for the original speaker location, & is supplied prewired & with the fasteners you will need. It will work great with an original or replacement radio. This speaker Fits into the original speaker location under the dash, it does require a mounting bracket, the original or this reproduction one above.
